The early years are crucial years for child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. Gan Shelanu believes that each child is an individual with his/her own learning abiliities, and for this reason we provide a safe, stimulating, loving environment where children can learn and grow.
Children learn best through their senses and through play, therefore we build our curriculum to stimulate and challenge each child’s abilities, and provide each child with the tools to become an independent learner.
In our daycare children will be introduced to various themes each month. Some of the themes will include my body, personal hygiene, Jewish holidays, animals, space, circus, transportation, my family, community helpers, and many more. While teaching each theme, the children will learn Math, English and Hebrew language, problem solving skills, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and engage in Shabbat celebration every Friday morning.
Our Curriculum includes general studies and Judaic studies. We will teach children to love, value, and respect their Jewish heritage. Our daily schedule will include half day Hebrew studies, and half day English studies.
